The GT3 RS evolution of the 991-generation 911 made its debut for 2016 with a then-new naturally-aspirated flat-6, a wider body shared with the Turbo, and, for the first time, no manual option. The use of lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber helped make the RS about 22 pounds lighter than the GT3, and engineers added vented fenders to increase downforce while cooling the brakes.
Power comes from a 4.0-liter flat-6, rated at 520 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission.
